Using Ginsana Tonic
Recommended dosage and directions:
Adults and adolescents 12 years and over: 15 ml per day, preferably with breakfast. For individuals between the ages of 12 and 18 years with a body weight <50 kg the recommended daily dosage is: half daily dosage - 7.5 ml.
Ginsana Tonic is to be shaken well before use. A slight turbidity is normal with this natural product.

Tolerability
In a study of American ginseng (Panax quinquefolius), another ginseng species, the extract was shown to reduce the effect of anticoagulants. Patients on blood thinning medications should seek medical advice before starting treatment with this product.
This product contains 1449 mg of sorbitol and 2075 mg of sucrose per maximum recommended daily dose. Diabetics, therefore, should use Ginsana Capsules which do not contain sugar. Patients with the rare hereditary conditions of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or sucrose-isomaltase insufficiency should not take this medicine.

Each Ginsana capsule contains the specific standardised G115 ginseng extract from the roots of Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer. G115 always contains the same amount of ginsenosides, standardised at a concentration of 4%.
The cultivation of ginseng plants follows the international guidelines of the Good Agriculture Practice (GAP). After harvesting, only the 5-7 year old roots are processed via a standardized extraction method which is used to prepare the extract. Analytical controls ensure the absence of contamination. At the end of the extraction, the G115 is standardised and additional studies with the finished product (Ginsana) are carried out - to support its quality, tolerability and reliability. Ginsana is the result of more than 40 years of clinical research.
It is recommended to take Ginsana regularly for at least 3 months. The benefits for some people are felt quite quickly, whilst for others it may be necessary to take the full pack in order to experience the maximum benefit. Ginsana is generally very well tolerated. In rare cases, gastrointestinal reactions (such as nausea, stomach pain and diarrhoea) and decreased sleep requirements have been reported after taking Ginsana.
