Recommended dosage and directions:

Adults and adolescents 12 years and over: take 2 capsules daily with breakfast or 1 capsule with breakfast and 1 capsule with lunch.


For best results, take Ginsana for 12 weeks minimum.20

Ginsana is generally well tolerated, with no serious effects reported. In a study of American ginseng (Panax quinquefolius), another ginseng species, the extract was shown to reduce the effect of anticoagulants [21]. For this reason an interaction between Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer and anticoagulants cannot be completely excluded.


Patients on anticoagulants should seek medical advice before starting treatment with this product.

Each capsule contains:

G115 (Panax Ginseng C.A.  Meyer extract) 100mg


Each Ginsana capsule contains the specific standardised G115 ginseng extract from the roots of Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer. G115 always contains the same amount of ginsenosides, standardised at a concentration of 4%.


The cultivation of ginseng plants follows the international guidelines of the Good Agriculture Practice (GAP). After harvesting, only the 5-7 year old roots are processed via a standardized extraction method which is used to prepare the extract. Analytical controls ensure the absence of contamination. At the end of the extraction, the G115 is standardised and additional studies with the finished product (Ginsana) are carried out - to support its quality, tolerability and reliability. Ginsana is the result of more than 40 years of clinical research.

It is recommended to take Ginsana regularly for at least 3 months. The benefits for some people are felt quite quickly, whilst for others it may be necessary to take the full pack in order to experience the maximum benefit. If you have specific questions about taking Ginsana, it is important to speak with a healthcare professional.

Ginsana is generally very well tolerated. In rare cases, gastrointestinal reactions (such as nausea, stomach pain and diarrhoea) and decreased sleep requirements have been reported after taking Ginsana.


It is important to speak with a healthcare professional if you are concerned about possible side effects.

Controlled studies with pregnant women are so far not available. In the absence of sufficient data, the use of Ginsana during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.

Where appropriate, Ginsana can be recommended for adolescents 12 years and older. If you have specific questions or concerns, it is important to speak with a healthcare professional.

Ginsana capsules have to be swallowed whole.

Yes, Ginsana has no gluten added.

Yes, Ginsana contains a very small amount of lactose (136 mg for the daily dosage of 2 capsules).

Ginsana capsules do not contain any caffeine or stimulants.

Yes, Ginsana capsules contain a small amount of mannitol.

It is recommended to stop Ginsana 2 weeks before surgery. However, it is important to discuss this with your healthcare professional, including your anaesthetist and surgeon.

Ginsana has no known effects in these situations.
